While hurt people are hurting people I believe in healing people and keeping them well. And what brings healing like laughter?

In the famed words of Charles Dickens’ Ebenezer Scrooge, “It is a fair, even-handed, noble adjustment of things, that while there is infection in disease and sorrow, there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”
May I spread some here in a new installment (est. 4.16.20) of things that crack me up called, THE FUNNIES. This is a spoonful of sugar for whatever ails you. LOL. Really.

Did you know today, June 5th, is National Veggie Burger Day! O.K.!
For the last year or maybe longer, who knows — I have internet on top of isolation brain — please forgive me. Anyway, for some time, my family has been trying to get on board with more vegetarian dishes. But I still like my meat and although, I’m not a big fan of beef I am a big fan of a good, sloppy burger. So I regularly purchase Dr. Praegers California Veggie Burgers. You can find them in the frozen section of your grocery store. They are quite tasty especially after you add all the fixings. But yesterday, my mother gave me a bite of her Boca vegetarian burger and it was THE BOMB! Our friend Peter turned us on to them last year (I think) and they taste like the best beef ever. You have to try them if you haven’t already. Anyway, I’m just happy to know that I should have my own vegetarian burger today. Yay!
Over the weekend you can also celebrate –
National Drive-In Movie Day (Saturday, June 6) – Social distancing approved,
and …
National Chocolate Ice Cream Day (Sunday, June 7) – SUNDAY CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH!!! I’m all in for this one. I live in Florida, too. Where it’s beyond hot and humid. Plus, my family will already be celebrating my cousin’s high school graduation via Zoom with cake. This is great timing!

Yes, when I pick up another package of veggie burgers from the grocery store, I’ll be grabbing a gallon of chocolate ice cream too. Preferably, Talenti. Do they sell that by the gallon?
Lastly,
In an awakened, Covid19 America…there are still people who need unconditional love and support.

UNTIL NEXT TIME…
