“I don’t have a feeling of inferiority. Never had. I’m as good as anybody, but no better.”
Katherine Johnson
Mrs Johnson’s attitude will take you to the moon. It certainly helped her in her career at NASA. Her mathematical calculations were critical to the space shuttle program.
I’m a believer in Mrs. Johnson words. Are you? I only wish more people believed like us.
Our children need to believe they can do anything, no matter their gender or race. Who cares? God made us in the likeness of His image, so we are all good enough and innately equipped for the purpose He created us for. If we believe.
Let’s stop majoring on the minor subjects things and refocus our children and ourselves toward the stars. The person in the mirror is the biggest threat to our destiny. The blame game is only a stalling tactic designed to keep us from greatness.
In Mrs. Johnson’s words:
“I don’t have a feeling of inferiority. Never had. I’m as good as anybody, but no better.”
attitude determines altitude.
