FLIP IT

Do you remember how Jesus tossed out the people buying and selling in the temple and overturned the tables of the loan sharks? Jesus regularly rocked the religious world. And since we are His “church,” we are subject to having our lives flipped upside-down and right-side up too.

Our Father God wants us to be His new creations, representing Him well. We are to walk in wisdom, fulfilling the Father’s will on earth. So let’s pray His Kingdom comes on earth as in heaven, and let’s get right with God so He can turn our messes into messages that draw the nations closer to His son, Jesus.

Let’s pray for God’s glory to upend our story. Let’s confess, “Lord Jesus, I am tired of doing it my way. I give it all to You today.” Then allow God to turn it around and upside down.

God wants to do good things in and through His new creations. Let’s let Him have His Way! (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬, Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬, Mark 2:22)

I hope this get’s you mentally, spiritually, and relationally ready for the week. Really,

Leah

Go deeper by meditating on the following:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Don’t be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” Proverbs 3:7

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost as well as the skins. No, new wine is put into fresh wineskins.” Mark 2:22
