to be understood

“Perhaps one did not want to be loved so much as to be understood.” – George Orwell. 

My reaction to Orwell’s quote: Sad. 

His words resonate deeply with many caregivers or those in isolation. There is certainty about their feelings, yet resolution remains out of reach. 

While being “understood” feels like discovering a previously hidden door, opening to unexpected joy, LOVE is still the bond, like a glue, that holds you in that welcoming space. 🤗 Let’s move closer. Let’s go deeper. Let’s grow stronger.
