Black Health Really Does Matter

For a woman who has spent most of the last decade battling and recovering from a chronic illness, I count it nothing short of a miracle that God would give me the opportunity to write an article on health. So, when you have a little more than a minute, I hope you will read Black Health Matters in the August 2020 edition of Ocala Style.

Acknowledgments to people smarter than me and willing to share their knowledge and bring this story to the local forefront: Nick Steele; our medical heroes and subject matter experts, Drs. Emery Brown, E.K. Johnson, and Rosemary Oraedu; Nurses Carolyn Adams and Bridget Boynton; Johnnie Jones and Linda Lonon.

Stay healthy ❤️
