BOOK REVIEW OF DAY 5 AND 6 FOR 2023

Days Five and Six seem to be error free, but I will make a plan to review these two chapters again when I am feeling better. For the last couple of days, I have been weak, bed bound, and my head has been throbbing like drums in a marching band.

Still, I managed to preserve, and keep up with my assignments for my Best Year Yet. By following the process fleshed out in the e-book, I have written goals-roles that I read in the morning (or afternoon, if you are battling cold symptoms). One thing the e-book mentions is to declare who we are and speak against any thoughts to the contrary. I have been in fully engaged in this practice considering my health. I actually enjoy laying back and seeing my life differently than what I am currently experiencing. It also helps to visualize my future when my eyes are too tired to look at a screen, anyway. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. As the e-book states, “We are not wishers, we are doers, committed to diligently pursuing our purposes.“

Regardless of our circumstances, we can create a habit of seeing ourselves where we want to be by the end of this year. This feels good to me. Even if nothing else about me feels good at the moment.

Really,

Leah
