Dear Reader,
Happy Motivate Me Monday!
Here is something to consider on Tuesday and the rest of your week. My last two months…
Loved them!!! I don’t have one complaint.
I do need to return to a sense of normalcy, though. Because I am a woman who thrives on routine for productivity. However, I love what I love (sunsets, sunrises, relaxing music, and whatever form of creativity that comes to mind at that moment).
Aahhh, I love those moments! I could replay the highlight reel of the last couple of months repeatedly, but life is not an endless stream of vacations. Or is it? Perhaps there is a way to recreate that holiday feeling even when you are back at home.
First, hone in on the duplicatable moments. One thing I love about a getaway is getting up stinking early to see the sun rise above the water and then getting out to walk, breathing in the fresh air, and having a good breakfast afterward. While I don’t have the beach outside my window, I always have the sun, my holiday vacation memories, and a healthy morning routine. Whether my day starts at 5 am or 10 am (in this case, I’d miss the sunrise), I do pretty much the same thing each day: I read my bible, pray, and then meditate. I stretch, sometimes exercise, and I eat a high-protein breakfast. And I always write. Most of what I write is private or for an upcoming project, but sometimes I write something I must share immediately (usually here on the blog).
Here is a pictorial glimpse into my morning perspective:
I begin with a high-protein breakfast. Ancient Nutrition Collagen Peptides contains 9 grams of protein per scoop (2 scoops per day), and Publix fresh ground almond butter is 14 grams a serving. The Cafe Serenity coaster @ Art, mothers, and mental health.
The day will be what you make it, so rise, like the sun, and burn.

Ultimately, my Motivate-Me-Monday suggestion is to bring one thing you love about your vacation into your everyday routine. Because you should not have to wait another year to feel the thrill you did last holiday. If you don’t mind, please drop your routine into the comments and maybe someone else will benefit from what you share.
Carpe diem! Really,
Leah
p.s. Try it on Tuesday and don’t neglect to include a Morning Prayer to God: Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I entrust my life. (Psalm 143:8). Amen.
